Francois Trudel
VFX Supervisor
“You need to have seen many images and to have a practiced eye in order to create visual effects that fit seamlessly into a sequence.”

François Trudel definitely has got the eye. He’s been training it for over 10 years, the way a pro athlete works their muscles. François pays attention—to the rain, the light, to shadow and colour. When he sees a sequence, he breaks it down and looks for the light, the dark, the angles. “That process helps me find the optimal effect.”
The seasoned eye that enables him to put the right effect in the right place is also able to find the right creative matchups between directors and his team of artists. “I’m here to be the link between our clients and our artists, to understand the director’s vision and help the artists take their creativity to the next level. I love my job !”
